Don and All,

Please forgive if this has been answered before.

You may not be able to convert the file unless you do the conversion on
the same computer on which the file was originally downloaded. In other
words, I tried converting a file sent to me by Dave, and it would not
convert. When I downloaded the same file, then ran Sound Taxi on the
same computer the file converted without a problem. I believe the
program looks for the relationship, or ownership of the .drm key. I
suspect that's the way the company tries to make sure that files are
converted only by those who own them, or purchased them, or borrowed
them.

I suspect that no matter how many programs can convert Audible files,
the problem will be whether the person converting the files has
ownership of the files as Audible books.
