ok, this is what you need to do.
open up easy cd da extracter.
now tab to your drive combo box.
and choose the drive you want to use
now do alt f and enter on retrieve.
this will retrieve the cd titles. for the cd you want to rip.
now if you have choosen your file format you can now do f 8 to start
ripping the cd.
let me know if this works for you.

Subject: Re: CD Ripping Software?

Hi. Actually 2 things are happening here. What I'm doing is to right click
on the drive where my CD is waiting to be ripped. Easy CD DA Extractor comes
up, but it doesn't show my tracks. In fact, it shows nothing except for all
empty fields. I can find nothing to indicate which drive has focus for the
program and trying each drive yields the same results. Just out of curiosity
I pressed F8 to begin the rip, but nothing happens. No error shows
whatsoever. The program appears to be waiting for me to do something, but I
can't see what that might be. Of course it's possible, even likely that I'm
missing something here, which is why I wrote to the developer. But as I
said, he has not responded.
