randy,
there is one thing wrong with the tutorial I send you!
everything is right exept from one item.
when you have something selected you must add it via the edit menu, add.
then things will work fine for you.
first choose: edit, then add submenu, and finally selected.

Best regards
Brian

ok randy,
it's very very simple.
start infrarecorder.
on the file menu choose new project, and thenn data dvd.
now you get 2 windows one where you find select and copy your files from and an empty one where you simply paste the files into. Now when you have done that just go to the action menu, and choose burn compilation and decide which kind of disk you wnanawanna write.

This should get you started.

I really appreciate it Brian very much.

hi Mathew
why pay for a semi accessible program when there is a fully accessible one available for free?

But even though it's very self explanatory I'll write a little tutorial of that simple task Randy is asking for.

Randy,

Since you've not used a burner till now, and since you're only backing up MP3s, and since it doesn't seem as though you're gonna be using any DVD burning software in the future, why not use a trial version of a reliable well known burning suite such as Nero. There's lots of info and audio tutorials for Nero 6, 7, and 8.

Friends, i'm now gonna take the plunge and try this infrarecorder.
However, I need to ask those of you who use this program, How do i burn a folder on to dvd? One folder that I have which is not that big it's got oh......... 3.25 gb of music. Single mp3 files. Can this be done?
