new version of lame encoders?

Hi listers!
speaking of lame encoders, is there only one version of that lame encoders for 
CDEx? or does anyone know if there's an upgrade for it, so I can installit?
or, does anyone know if there's an upgrade for the fronheifer one?
what is the internal mp3 encoder in CDEx?
