Problems Ripping CD's in WMP-10

Hello all list members.
Just as the title says, I have problems ripping CD's in WMP-10.
I put in a CD that I wish to rip to my library,.
But when I hit the rip button, I get a message that says, "Windows Media Player 
cannot rip the CD correctly.
The settings in the CDRW drive and device manager don't match."
What does this mean, and how do you fix it?
