I am using a 32 gb card successfully with no problems at all in the stream.
it is one of the Kingston cards. PNY cards work too!

It's possible there's something in the Victor Stream FW that limits the

of the SD cards you can use to 16G, but I suspect it's more likely that

cards were the largest cards that were available for testing on the Stream
when that recommendation was made. I wouldn't hesitate to try a 32G card

a Stream, although I may not buy a 32G card to use in my stream if I had
any doubts it would work.

I'd like those HC SD cards. The highest they recommend is a 16 gig card,

the link to the site, you'll see that they use the term SD card and SD
disk
interchangeably. I looked around a bit, and from what I can tell it looks
like SD disk and SD card refer to the same thing. Is that not the case?

floppy disks. Every SD disk comes with a tiny write protection switch or
tab.
IF you hold the SD disk in front of you face up with the makers name
upper
most.
The write protection tab or notch, should be found on the edge of the
disk
near the top. By default when you buy a new SD disk the write protection
is
turned off. And the Tab on the edge should be in the "Up" position, this
means write protection is OFF. Meaning data can be read from the disk &
written
back to the disk, provided its not full up.
IF the notch is pushed into the "down" position then this means that
write
protection is enabled (turned on), and thus no data can be written back
to
the
disk even if there is enough space remaining.
I hope this helps. I've never done anything with the write protect tab
myself, so I don't know how good these instructions are.
