I tried the same thing on another page and it didn't work for me either. Now I'm not sure what I did that made it work. Perhaps one does have to rout the Jaws cursor first and click on the slider.

I'm dissapointed that it doesn't just work the way I thought it did.

I recently noticed the progress bar looks different on Youtube. So I tried
turning the Jaws virtual pc cursor off with Jawskey z and you know what? I
could move forward and back with right and left arrows and move volume and
up with up and down arrows. I don't think this ever worked so well before.
I didn't even have to rout the cursor or get focus on any controls.
