My agency, Minnesota State Services f/t Blind is looking to talk to persons who are blind who are working full-time in the audio production and editing field. We have several clients who are interested in persueing this field and we would like to know what are some of the access issues that one may encounter in this career, and how a person can gain access to many of the highly graphical interfaces in many of the audio editing and audio production software packages used by professionals. What is the most accessible software, and which ones are not accessible? Is it possible to do audio editing and audio production with the most popular production software packages on the Apple and what about on Windows computer systems.

If you are working in this field and can provide information to us and our clients or you know of someone who can help us out please contact me in the Assistive Technology Unit at Minnesota State Services for the Blind.

My contact information is:
david.tan...@state.mn.us, work phone: 651-642-0795, work cell: 651-270-2233.

Thanks in advance for your assistance...
David Tanner, Assistive Technology Specialist, Assistive Technology Unit, MN State Services f/t Blind
