This was a group called The Christian Record and was produced back in the 50's and 60's and was only done at 16 rpm. I only have Total Recorder and CD recorder and I don't think either of them would do what I need. I know there would be sound degradation if I could even do that. Somebody suggested recording it at the 33rpm setting and then play it back at half speed If I had a tape deck which would do that, but unfortunately I don't have a dual speed tape recorder. Thank to all of you for your input. I'll get it some how eventually.

If you use the 33-rpm player and digitally stretch the result, you'll also
need noise and hiss reduction.
Are you sure the original material hasn't already been professionally
re-done?

Subject: A strange request

Hi Gang,

I have a need to copy something from an old 16rpm talking book disc. I only
have 33 rpm. Does anybody know where I can buy or borrow an old machine
that will play the 16rpm discs? That's going way back in technology for
sure.
Thanks for any info.
