I would look in to the m-audio's fast track pro.
It even has a midi port and I think it's much lesthan $350.

Are you looking for something high quality or something just for voice.
If high quality and you can afford it and need it just for playback go with
the Devil Sound usb dec.
It's $350 but well worth the money.

Hi!
I've used many sound cards for desktop computers in my time, the notebook
computer is a completely new area for me and its so new that I don't even
know the correct name for the card slot my HP Notebook has, think it might
be PCI express? I'm sure soemone will correct me on this.
Anyway, I'm looking for a second sound device for my new machine so does
anyone have any recommendations?
could use a Imic but I really want to keep USB ports free if I can for
other devices though I need not worry too much given the fact that I have
4 USB ports on the machine.
Thanks In Advance!
Cheers!
