Okay, well perhaps mine is a different package as it didn't cost me that kind of money.

Reaper is sound production software which pretty much does everything and is accessible, you can even do multi track recording with the software if you so desire.

I think the licence is only about $60.00 which is giving it away and that licence can be used across platforms so you can use Mac or PC versions.

The manual is well written though extra tutorials to deal with specific subjects are also available and I warn you, when I talk manuals that's exactly what I'm talking and this manual would look at home on a coffee table believe me and it goes into heaps of detail about how to use Reaper etc.

yep, that's the mbox, that thing's 500 bucks. I don't have that kind of bread. But what's this reeper software? or is it hardware?

Ah, I bet I know the box you're talking about, the Fastrak mixer right?

I was able to get Protools to work here though I wasn't particularly worried about that software to be hones as I prefer Reaper, found out about Reaper after I'd purchased the package so not complaining in the slightest.

Hey list,

Simple question, has anyone ever found pro tools to be accessible in the slightest? I'm looking at an m-box soundcard from avid, but it comes with pro tools, which is kind of a waste of my money if it doesn't work for me.
