Interesting. Is an external card as good as an internal one, such as a
Delta
66.
And what about the accessability of the software with this?

Hi barry
if you want it all, get the fast track pro from m-audio you get midi and
spdif as well.
the box is about 5 x 4 x 2
so it's not small but it needs no power .
There might be a usb 2 version now.

Subject: A good quality sound card wanted
Hi all,
I am looking for a good quality USB sound card with stereo line in,
microphone in and 2 stereo line/headphone out. I am not needing something
with lots of bells and whistles such as surround sound, just something
with
high quality input and output, where the software to control it is screen
reader friendly. I realise this question has been asked numerous times
before, but I wasn't interested at the time and didn't take note of any
recommendations.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Barry Chapman
