I'm running an Inspiron 5150 laptop with xp pro
the sound card is Sigma-tel audio
I set up 2 lines in the control pannal
audio repeater 1
line 1 I pointed to the speaker
audio repeater 2
mic 1 to line 1
I then plugged an audio source into the mike jack but still got no audio
out.

Subject: virtual audio cable
Has anyone figured out a set upp that would allow me to monitor my
recordings through the mike jack? My Dell Inspiron 5150 does not allow for
monitoring so I must record then playback to see how it sounds.
