Hi Tom,
I think that you downloaded the wrong Winamp.
I think that you downloaded the Winamp for Mac Sinc, which is version 07.3.
The version that you need is 5.6 for Windows.
If you can't get it let me know, and I'll gladly send it to you.

Subject: Still Looking For Help With Winamp

Hello list: I assume that not many people saw my original post, concerning a problem I'm having with Winamp since I re-installed it over the weekend! So I shall repost it again in hopes that someone can tell me how to fix this: if I'm listening to a file in Winamp; then I want to skip ahead, using the arrow keys, I get a horrible noise that I cannot get rid of..except if I restart the computer! Even shutting Winamp down won't stop it! Also, I notice that if I have Winamp playing at low volume, I'm hearing some white noise; it's like a "hissing" sound! Hopefully somebody can tell me what to do; I think it's something maybe in preferences that needs to be either checked or unchecked; whichever the case, I very much would like to be able to get this resolved! And I'm sure there are many on this list who use Winamp as their player of choice, so please feel free to jump in there and let me know what I need to do?
Tom Kaufman
