Hello Steve: If that doesn't work, go to Alt-O and the first choice, which is Settings, then the second line, which is Driver, tab a couple of times and select the devices for listening and then microphone. In my case, I use Logitech headset for both, but you may select different. Play with that, because I remember that gave me headaches for a while, until I found it; it's like anything else, easy once you find it.
