It could be that the  pairing is different from most bluetooth devices.
there are some devices that have a different way of pairing to the 
booksense.
what happens when you try and pair the logetec to the booksense?

Oh sad to hear, but there are so many Bluetooth profiles out there. It works
perfectly on a Bose bluetooth speaker bar.
