Personally, I could not get tracks to sync up together so that they sounded correctly like they would in sonar or reaper. If someone could tell me how to make tracks line up the way they are supposed to, I would give it a try again.
For example, while recording vocals, my second harmony part would not stay with the first, and I did not know how to make it line up. That is my two cents worth. -----Original Message----- From: Pc-audio [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of Rich De Steno Sent: Monday, November 25, 2013 7:47 PM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: Audacity Versus Reaper for Multitrack Recording I have successfully used Audacity for multitrack recording of songs, using guitars, a keyboard, and a drum machine. I have heard and read very favorable comments about another multitracker called Reaper. I would like to hear opinions from anyone who has used both, as to which is better and why, considering accessibility, of course. -- Rich De Steno To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
