Steve, I might have to check Groove Mechanic out. Mostly, I've been happy with Sound Forge's Noise Reduction, but I find I have to spend a lot of time playing with parameters to get it the way I want it. It would be interesting to see what Groove Mechanic would do on a troublesom short clip of something. Thanks for the info.
