I used to do that, all the time, with Concert Vault, the archive of Bill Graham's sound board recordings, of classic rock shows, from the Fillmore, King Biscuit Flower Hour, etc.; it takes a lot of patience, but, it is worth it sometimes. One has to do a bit of editing, to join the files, as they gap them, at the oddest points! You can create a great concert, joining the audience applause, then marking regions, to play tracks, for your sighted friends, with audio players, in their cars, etc.! I used CD Architect, to create the final CD master files.

In that case why not just capture the stream in real time, I believe you have Sound Forge? Well that software ought to be able to help you.

I want the sound in MP3 so I store it on my disc and play it on my radio show.
