Hi, just go to the guitar center, or some other music store and get a
fasttrack pro.
I had an xp machine and it worked very well.

It has it's own control pannel but you'l get use to it after a while.

U s b is the way to go.

Subject: Re: recommended USB mixers

Hello. I've got one of these laptops that has one jack for everything. What kind of mixer do I need? Can I use an analog mixer? If so, what kind of cables do I need? If I need a USB mixer, I could use some recommendations. I have a USB headset. Is there a way to use a USB headset on a USB mixer?

Hello Armando,

I don't necessarily think that you need a usb mixer.

A reasonable analogue mixer, connected in to the line in of your
computer will do just fine. You can monitor from the mixer, and have
complete control of the faders.

75 dollars, or fifty uk pounds will do you just fine.

Hello, I am wondering, what is the best USB mixer you can recommend for
podcasting purposes? I am wanting to do podcasts but I do not have proper
equipment to podcast with including the ability to connect multiple devices such as my macs and being able to speak in. in the past, I have used either
my brailleNote Apex, victor reader and an iPad with iRecorder. Much
assistance would be appreciated, thanks.

Best,
Armando
