OK, now I understand, it has no problem with a small file, only with a
larger one.  Do you get any error message?  Does it hang up, or does it tell
you that it completed the conversion?

No, what i said was this.
1 i converted a small file to mp3, that worked. using the method you 
specified.
2  then i tried to set up a larger file to convert to mp3. did the same 
steps as you outlined for the first one. when done there was no mp3 in 
the folder i had placed in the path.
so while the smaller file converted just fine, the larger one did not 
convert at all.
would you like the file so you can try it?
