I bout a Phorus ps1 because it was only $50 US. I wanted to try it out before making a more serious commitment to play-fi. The Phorus also support blue tooth and Air Play. I'm not hooked into the IOS ecology, buy the rest of my family is. It's a little smaller than I thought, but is supposed to lay loud and clear.

I haven't had the time to do more than download the play-fi program to the computer. It's then when I think I discovered that I need a dlna media server to push the music to the speaker. It will be the weekend before I get to play much more with it. I'll report on my discoveries. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dane Trethowan" <grtd...@internode.on.net>

Okay, just changing the subject here <smile>

You mentioned that you had some Play-Fi Speakers, what type did you get?

Thanks for your help.

Have you tried Jamcast? Its not fully accessible yet but is getting there, $14 for a lifetime of upgrades and updates, 14 day free trial.

The software is acce3ssible enough right now to get good use out of it, even more so if you have a Smart Phone or another device with DLNA software to control it.

Anyone got a dlna media server recommendation for accessibility? I'm sort of looking at Plex or Pwonkey or serviio.

Any input will be appreciated. I use JAWS for my screen reader.
