Subject: Re: VRS & Internet Radio

Hi!

I'm not a Victor Reader Stream user and I don't use my iPhone much for
Internet radio however I believe I use a far better solution than a Victor
Reader Stream will ever be and an iPhone is part of this - or indeed an
Android phone if you'd prefer -, the phone acts as the remote control for my
Sangean Internet radios and tuners here.

Yes, variations of these are available in America.

For Australia and Europe Sangean offer Multi Band multi function Internet
radios and - in Australia at least - there are four models to choose from,
two portable units, a tabletop music system and a Hi-Fi tuner so choose the
one that reflects your needs.

In The U.S., Sangean have the WRF28 or WRF28, as far as I know those two
units are battery portable sets.

The App for Android/iPhone is very easy to use and even mirrors the display
of the radio.

All Sangean models now come with Spotify Connect and the App itself has been
updated so the user can stream an iTunes library from the phone itself to
the radio.

Naturally there are a lot more details I could give about these radios and
their setups and I really should do another Podcast on the whole subject, I
did one 3 years ago I think it was but since then the whole thing has gone
ahead in leaps and bounds.
