You're right. That is a valid argument. I had to just take a moment and
recall the vicious telnet bug that shipped on the Sol 10 ( update 2 ? )
CDROM and DVD media. To not have access to the patch for a security flaw
would be criminal.

There must be a middle ground where the engineering operations are
sustained with revenue and the security patches ( or similar critical gas
pedal issues ) are avail but everything else has a fee.
