I need to update an older Solaris that is the primary/control domain for a
T5220 to pickup CR 6661097.
Here's the details on the OS and firmware:
cat /etc/release
Solaris 10 8/07 s10s_u4wos_12b SPARC

uname -a
SunOS zoot 5.10 Generic_137111-03 sun4v sparc SUNW,SPARC-Enterprise-T5220
/opt/SUNWldm/bin/ldm -V
Logical Domain Manager (v 1.0.3)
Hypervisor control protocol v 1.1
Using Hypervisor MD v 1.0
System PROM:
Hypervisor v. 1.6.7. @(#)Hypervisor 1.6.7.a 2008/08/30

OpenBoot v. 4.29.0. @(#)OBP 4.29.0.a 2008/09/15 12:01
Using the following pca syntax I get 11 patches to install kernel patch 141444
(in the end I will use Live Upgrade)
/var/tmp/pca --list 141444 --xrefdir="/var/tmp/pcatmp"
--patchdir="/var/tmp/pcatmp"
Using /var/tmp/pcatmp/patchdiag.xref from Feb/16/10

My questions are:
1. Will pca pickup all the patches needed to support kernel patch 141444? (I
think I'm asking if I can trust the dependence list for 141444.)
2. Is it a bad idea to pick just a kernel patch out of the set of missingrs?
(The missingrs set includes 111 patches.)
3. Any general advice for patching a running production primary/control domain.
Thanks for any insight,
