I just experienced 9500 voodoo last night. After having upgraded RAM and
replaced its dying 3.6 volt PRAM battery with a CR2 3.3v Photo Lithium I
got as far as the startup chime, but no video. Hit the CUDA button again
but that didn't do the trick. Then I decided to reset the logicboard -
pulled out the battery, cards, cpu, power harness(es) and just waited 20
minutes. Reattached the power supply cord to the board (w/o attaching its
230V AC power cord) and KB, and pressed the KB startup button for 10
seconds.

Reassembled everything, restarted, heard the startup chime
and....."voila"...I got the smiling Mac and desktop back.
