>Did anybody order any of these dimms at $20.95
---------------
I just received, and tested, a batch of 10 that I ordered on
the latest $19.95 special. Two were defective and will have to be
returned. One of them, when installed in a 9600 as the only RAM
module, prevented the computer from even starting up. The other one
failed the Tech Tool Pro RAM test.

I am getting a little tired of this. The price is low,
granted, but it is a lot of time wasted testing every module,
packaging up the defective ones, walking to the post office, and then
having to watch the credit card bills to see if I get credit for
them. Plus now, since I needed ten modules I have to either wait for
another sale or reorder at the regular price and in any case pay
another shipping charge!

I got three defective ones out of 16 in one batch and now two
out of ten in the next batch. I'm beginning to wonder if it is
worth the trouble. Don't those guys at Velocity test these RAM
modules before they send them out?
