Our ISP is Optus@home. We have a cable modem to which I connect via ethernet/TCP/IP /using DHCP server. I might sometimes go for half a day of powering down the modem, ditching the TCP/IP preferences, re-booting the Mac, re-setting the TCP/IP control panel.... before making a connection again. How does this sound to you?
