I bought a used 7300/200 from a university surplus warehouse just
cause it was a good deal. It came with half of OS 9, just enough to
run. Ran fine until after I loaded OS 8 and 8.1 update (I don't have
a copy of 9). I was working on 3 different machines at the same
time, so I don't recall whether the problem started after I rebooted
to 8/8.1 or at a later reboot.

The Problem:
The video now looks like corduroy - vertical stripes of color
alternating with smaller black stripes making text almost unreadable.
It isn't the monitor. It works fine with other Macs. And the 7300
shows the same problem when attached to my 19" NEC monitor.

Any advice will be appreciated.
