Previously, when the computer had once connected to the 7200, somebody put a
checkmark on the 7200's hard drive name ("Select the items you wish to use"
does not mean put a checkmark there) in the Chooser connect box. The
checkmark causes the Mac to forever look for the 7200 upon boot.

Either connect to the 7200 for real one last time and when you get to that
point uncheck the box (notice it says that checked items will be opened at
startup, and the only way to "open" another Mac's hard drive is to connect
to it...) or trash the AppleShare prep file in the offending Mac (not the
7200).

The fact that File Sharing is off is irrelevant here. That only prevents
another computer connecting to IT.
