I once had similar problems... in fact I think it was the SAME problems(!) with a recently purchased 233mhz card from a 8500-9600 machine. I deemed it to be incompatable w/ my 7600, but the entire list argued otherwise... Anyway, I changed back to my original 132mhz card.. and it was no more problems.
