James: I have a 7300 Powerforce G3 that I tried OS 10.1.5 on for about a month. However I would advise against it because it was just so slow. OS 9.2 which can be installed on many PCI PowerMac, is noticeably faster than OS X, at this point in time. OS X is still a new operating system so it doesn't have the speed that 9 does. About the lowest system you would even want to run OS X with acceptable speed is a B&W G3. Those systems are very easy to upgrade to a G4 or even a DPG4. It has a 100mhz bus. Www.Powermax.com has some for around 300-400 USD
