Bruce and Darren, Immediately upon sending this, I will go into Netscape preferences and do as suggested, although the inbox SNM file reset itself both yesterday and today.
Once I have deleted all the snm files, I did the regularly in the past until being told not to do so. I prefer to empty the trash once a month by deleting both trash and trash snm. Saves lots of time rather than the compacting method. I more than appreciate you all for hanging in with me. I will allow Netscape to reset those files, and then will see if there are any changes. Subsequent to the above, I will follow the now printed out Netscape install pages and see how I do there. How many PCI slots does this 7300 have? Thanks, Teresa BTW, I only receive attachments from known persons, usually jpgs and similar. Every now and then a friend will include an exe. which I never try to open, as I know I can't. I agree about the need for virus software and tits on a Bull. -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
