Many many months ago i noticed that i would sometimes receive duplicate incoming messages. I was using netscape 4.7x. I noticed that this did not happen if i did NOT read messages while email was incoming. Since i stopped reading my email while messages are incoming, the duplication problem has stopped occurring.
