The 7500 case accommodates: 7500, 7600, 7200 and 8500 mobos. The 7300 case accommodates: 7300 and 8600 mobos. Exchanging the "Suffix B" power supply (7500, et. al.) for the "Suffix G" power supply (7300 only) allows the basic case to accommodate any variation of mobos mentioned. The 7200 and 7300 have no A-V capability or connector. The 7500 and 7600 have limited A-V capability, and a matching connector. The 8500 and 8600 have full A-V capability, and a matching connector. The 7500 and 7200 are PPC 601. The others are PPC 604. An 8600 Mach5 300 MHz mobo in a 7300 case is a pretty hot (literally) desktop machine. The Mach5 is PPC 604ev. The cooling fan in all of these is rated 45 cfm. Replacing that fan with a 65 cfm model may be necessary for an 8600 conversion. -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
