OS 9.1.x works fine on all PCI Macs, some adjustments are needed to go
to 9.2.x.

OS X works but is sluggish unless the box has upgraded power and memory.

Jaguar needs more horsepower than 10.x.

I prefer the 9.2.2 route, but for some folks the 10.x.x OS can provide
wanted options.

Always the choice is for the user to decide what result is wanted.

The OS versus the box resources is always a choice of the user.
