I agree - for instance from a recent thread on this list I found a
driver/app that lets me use my cheap USB Logitech Quickcam Express on my
iBook in X. I can't do that in 9.x at all.

That and I like the X Mail.app I'm writing this on much more than other
more expensive options. ;-)

True. They also work well for low-end, low-bandwidth, servers. I was
running MacDNS here just recently before I shut down a site. I also
found a free mail server and a free group server that would work just
fine on those older machines. Even my non-PCI ones.

It's funny but I won't trade my Clamshell for anything. Eventually I'll
pass it on to someone else after I'm through with it. (Probably my
daughter when she's old enough - provided technology hasn't totally
outstripped it.)

But then I also like playing with the 7300 (down right now while I
mail-trade power supplies with someone off the swap list) which is being
converted to an 8500 board as well as my old 540c PowerBook which I
painted and need to re-paint. It's all good. ;-)
