Yes it was BestBuy (sorry I goofed) and it is a protocol 1.1 speed.

Yes I realize this now.

OK so if I hear complaints that it is slow this is what I will say.
However, I did buy her a used SCSI but she didn't want that on the chain 
with the scanner. I say it would work better but maybe not.
