slipstream dialup software?

Has anybody used this item on there PC to speedup there connection and 
if so can the connection still be shared with my MAC via network using 
the PC as the dhcp server?
Also does anybody know if this software is available for the MAC?

Sorry about the offtopic but I figured this would be the place to get 
some answers.
