I'm planning to buy this card for my powermac 9600. Has anybody in this
list used this card? Is it worth buying at $179 (OWC)?

It's kinda expensive...OWC sells the Orange Micro 2-port firewire/usb combo for $50 (albeit USB 1.1 only) and currently has an acard ATA133 card for $84, so you can get the equivalent from OWC for only $134


You're paying a premium for using only one slot.
