If I do upgrade the CPU on my PM 7300/180, could I safely run OS 9.2, or OS X? And what versions of OS X would I be able to run? I'd also like to still run OS 8.6, and OS 9.1, if possible. That is another question to discuss though . . . .
Would my PowerMac 7300/180 be limited with the slower 300mhz CPU upgrade (as far as updating browsers, and other software? Would the faster CPU upgrades, 400mhz, or 500mhz, allow me to upgrade the OS even further? I'd like to be able to update Netscape and Explorer. Presently I can only go as high as Netscape 4.7, and Explorer 5.01, and Outlook 5.03.
