People at work, including our production department, and our IT department, are telling me it's bad to launch an application via clicking on an associated document, unless the application is already open.
To me, this is like asking me not to use one hand. It's one of the things that drew me to the mac.
Has anyone else heard anything about this being a bad thing to do? My mac at work has been crashing, and they have been thinking this could be a reason why. It sounds strange to me. If it's bad, why include the ability to do that?
