Having seen so much on this list about bizarre techniques etc. to stop
SPAM, just wanted to let you know about my ISP.
I used to get around 400+ messages a week, of which around 90% were
SPAM. For the last 2-3 weeks I have had around 50 messages a week.
This change has been due to my ISP running anti-SPAM filter at their
end, at no cost to me.
This means that it is easy enough for ISP's to do this, my experience
bears this out. So all it needs, surely is a bit of pressure from users
on their ISP's to get their ISP to do the same thing.
Just think, no more V*i*a*g*r*a messages or the like. I do not get them
now!
I am very impressed and pleased with my ISP.

P.S., By the way, in the UK, SPAM is a type of tinned pork luncheon meat
of a particularly unpleasant variety. Very popular during the war,
apparently! Yuk!
