[PCI] DOS games on a Mac

	I have been using a free app. called DOS box to do some 
school work with Q-BASIC.  It allows you to run a DOS environment on 
your Mac.  Just for kicks, I downloaded a few old DOS games to try. 
I got Super Mario Bros. and something called Acknoid or something 
like that.  They both work, but run rather slow.  Does anybody have 
any experience with DOS box that might let me run these games a 
little faster?

        My specs are...
        G4/400
        512 MB RAM
        OS 10.2.8
