Thanks John. My USB2/FW card was given as working in the 7500 model since
it has been tested by my card reseller. He suggested to downgrade to Mac OS
9.1 and it worked. Then, I only replaced the two FireWire extentions (v.
2.8.5) of OS 9.2.2 that caused the problem with versions 2.7 of OS 9.1, and
after OS 9.2.2 boot it worked too. So I could eventually make the FireWire
CD burner to work.
My card is probably PCI 2.0 compliant.
Of course, the USB ports are working as USB1 only.
