My suggestion is to find one of the many sites that show you how to do this. This does require a bit of effort as you will have to do some of the leg work yourself like tracking down files, but it's pretty easy. Search google.com, you'll be amazed at what you'll find.

Specifically, there's a site called Three Macs that shows you how to do this step by step.

Ok, I think I got IPNetRouter figured out. My problem now is what software
to use on the SE for TCP/IP. What I have is an old copy of MacTCP that
doesn't want to work right. Any suggestions?

Ok, I've installed IPNetRouter, which is what I used when I tried this a
year ago. Now the question is... how do I use it? It's annoying enough to
only be able to use it for 30 days :-S, but I don't have any clue how to get
it to route the connection from Ethernet to Localtalk. (I already have the
Bridge installed)

This is the one I used to use - Sustainable Softworks' IPNetRouter -
it's about $89, but I think you can download a trial version. I am
not sure if there's such a thing as a free software router for the
Mac.

Ok, somebody said that it wouldn't be too hard to find a Ethernet/Localtalk
Internet router on the web... whelp I'm having troubles. I thought AIR
might do it (Apple Internet Router), but all I could find are patches, is it
a commercial product or something? If anybody knows of a freeware or
shareware internet router, please send me a link to one.
thanx,
ES
