OK, here's my scenario: I am soon getting DSL and have several Macs I want to
network (wired/wireless). The Mac with the DSL connection will be my eMac
700. This will be connected to my Linksys wireless access point router. From
there, I plan on connecting my Power Mac 7600 and Power Mac 7200 (both wired
connections) and using my Power Book 1400c and PowerBook 3400c wirelessly with the
Lucent cards I recently got for them. Anyone out there with a similar setup
who can make any suggestions? Will it be best to run the eMac in OS 10.2 or
9.2.2, or does it matter? The other Macs on this network are all OS 9.1. I also
have other Macs (and several PCs), as well as another wireless access point
router, so I am further interested in linking the 2 networks together. Any
suggestions or possibilities? Any downsides/impossibilities. I am new to networking,
but not to Macs, as I have over two dozen, from a circa 1990 Mac Classic to an
eMac!
TIA, Heather
