Ah, someone else is experiencing this bit of discrimination:
well, i just found out my online banking has moved up in browsers and left me in the dust! according to them, they now only support netscape for mac OS X.
I changed banks. I got very annoyed with Bank of America. So I went to a local bank, which has a very nice, easy-to-use-with-iCab Web interface. And it seems secure. At least it shuts me out quickly enough!
what version[s] of netscape do you all use with OS 8 thru OS 9.x?
I use iCab for most of my Web browsing. I check newly built Web pages in Explorer, though.

Are they telling us that only poor people use obsolete browsers ? And poor people are notoriously bad credit risks with nothing to invest they may well think " good riddance to bad rubbish " !
It's easier to either change banks or give in and upgrade. Either way it leaves one with a bad feeling. Complaining about it does little good.
