the 8600 has 8 slots for RAM and 4 slots for VRAM; you should have
either 2
or 4 of the VRAM slots full. You'll see what I mean.
Well thanks to everyone for the help, but no dice. Pressing the cuda,
zapping PRAM, re-seating the vram chips did nothing.. Still looks like
I'm look at the monitor through a screen door.. But thanks for the
help.. I believe it is time to acquire a 9600 mobo for this case.. So
another question, would the 300mhz processor card in this 8600 work on
a 9600 mobo?
