I will hopefully soon be upgrading my 6500 to OS 9.
When that happens I am going to get to install a copy
of AppleWorks 6 that I have. Currently, I am using OS
7.5.5 and am using ClarisWorks 4.0. I have many
important documents that have been written using
ClarisWorks 4.0 and I want to make sure that
everything will work fine with AppleWorks 6. Do the
two programs use the same extension? I thought
someone told me once that Apple bought Claris hence
the name AppleWorks, but some of these documents are
so important that I can't take any chances. Does
anyone have any suggestions or knowledge in this
issue? Thanks, and I apologize for my strange
questions. I am getting newly introduced to the
MacWorld and I love it!

J
